The owner of Bar Robroy in Tokyo asked for new aprons for his project named Bar “Hide Out”.
The aprons should match in color and style the previous ones but our Japanese customer also added a support 'work drawing' showing special needs.
He wants the aprons for men a bit more bigger and longer, and with a split to realize more room to move. The aprons for women had to suit the build of the Asiatic (more thin) waitresses and should be completed with an adjustable closure.

The logo of the new bar must be clearly visible and also the name of the gin brand from Schiedam that is available in this Tokyo bar must be modestly shown.

So the characteristics of Bobby's Gin are reflected in the bowtie accessorie.

Also special extra's were asked like a pocket for a barblade, a loop for a towel and a smaller loop for a pen, and, as a finishing touch, a small pocket just big enough to put in the businesscards.

Thanks to the clear drawing we were able to fullfil all these needs and extra demands and so this case is an excellent example of fine Duch - Japanese collaboration.
