Bespoke Vagabond Apron

Danil was looking for an apron that helps him travel throughout the world looking like a vagabond. 

The apron must reflect his roots, gives him the looks to perform, and must store his tools as well.

And yes, the pineapple had to be an essential part. 

 

First I designed a logo and developed it in a  combined technique of laser embroidery and application.

His native country Scotland and favorite city (Amsterdam) are visualised in the unicorn and crosses

The pineapple was used as a statement of hospitality.

Then there was also a wish to make it possible to light matches on the apron!

So we discussed thoroughly all his special demands, take all the measurements of neck, body and waist, and maximized functions for the left hand en the right hand.

The choice of colours had to match with the colours of Danil hair, skin and eyes.

So in the end the apron and Danil  became a balanced whole with the apron as the ultimate supporting workwear.
