Bespoke Barber Apron

 

Martijn was looking for an apron to protect his clothes and show his skills. It was also a desire to carry his tools, the scissors, in a handy and safe place.

 

Together we agreed to a spitleg apron which improves freedom of movement. The pockets are placed exactly at height and there are inner pockets made, with an angled insert, so that the scissors can be put back on feeling.

 

The length is determined so that the cut tiny hairs get on the apron and out of his clothes.

 

The shoulder straps are adjustable with a crossed closure fastening on the back 
and small simple buckles on the apron.

 

After two meetings, I am sorry that I myself have no beard for grooming... instead Martijn now comes to my studio to learn all about stitching. 
Luckily he has a steady hand.
